Ubuntu 7.10 enable compiz settings manager

December 10th, 2007 by jason

The visual effects are really nice in Ubuntu 7.10, but the Compiz settings manager is not enabled by default. To install in terminal simply type “sudo aptitude install compizconfig-settings-manager”.

You will now have an entry in system->preferences called “Advanced Desktop Effects Settings”.

Enjoy!
