About
I promise..To practice and prescribe to the best of my ability for the good of my patients, and to try to avoid harming them…
Welcome to my blog!
I am Jason Dugmore, a South African web and application developer. I have studied Development and Information Management at tertiary levels. I am well cluded up on technology as I have been involved in PC support and networking at both ground and management levels.
All though I am still pretty new to the web scene, I have had much experience in it. My very first personal project was www.musicreview.co.za it was first launched way back in 2005 and has gone through no less than 3 makeovers, both functionally and cosmetically. Musicreview taught me much about web development, and online communities. More currently I have partnered with Robin Pietersen of www.noboxmedia.com to create a social developer resource at www.sadeveloper.co.za
I am also in an alliance with www.techmongrel.com another great site that is bringing a wealth of information to people all over the world.
I am currently working as a web developer, and have worked on many projects for large corporates.
TheOpenSurgery is my personal blog. It is all about taking something apart and seeing how it works and then putting it back together again and making it stronger and faster. That something is usually opensource software.
I welcome you to my pages and hope that you will find these pages very useful. Should you wish to get hold of me please make use of the “contact us” page.
Peace to you,
Jason Dugmore
